About US

At Pix Perfect, we believe there's no better way to play than to create. Because when you create, great things happen. That's why we're dedicated to giving kids and adults of all ages a fun, new way to express their creativity. Whether you enjoy following a pattern or creating your own designs, we're sure you will share our enthusiasm for our products when you proudly display your own shining masterpiece.

Pix Perfect is a woman-owned business based in southeast Michigan.  Owner, Lisa Keyworth, is a lifelong artist and entrepreneur and first time toy-inventor and manufacturer.  She gives all the credit to the success of this new start-up company to her husband; Jay, two boys; Preston and Ethan, and two wiener dogs; Indy & Cake. Below are some photos to showcase the journey of Pix Perfect from conception to today.

Our inspiration for Pix Perfect.  In 2014, after 250 hours of labor we created a stunning 60 square foot Marilyn Monroe for our home.  She was made out of very crude materials from many trips to Home Depot and unsafe straight pins.  The sequins were from dozens of suppliers, uniformity in size and shape was difficult to find in the colors we wanted.  What a nightmare! But, she's a BEAUTY and everyone that saw her wanted some sparkly artwork for their home... but there HAS to be a better way!

Fast forward after a few years of product design & development.  Our first shipment of boxes arrive early 2018.  Tears follow shortly after.

After all of our materials arrive, it's time to assemble our kits!  So, our entire kitchen transformed into a giant assembly line.  And, our teenage boys learn what "quality control" and "poke yoke" is. #familytime

We begin preparing samples for our first show.  Ethan, Preston, Brooklyn & Jordan with their Pix Perfect creations in January, 2018.

Starter Kits Launch at Toronto Comic Con on March 2018. (We thankfully salvaged enough boxes from the disaster photo above)

We quickly take the feedback from the show and start repackaging.  This time we have our boxes manufactured in our hometown of Detroit so we don't risk another disaster by shipping cross-country from California.  (And, we were able to watch our boxes roll off the line!)

Showcasing our new kits at the Dallas Toy Preview, October 2018.  This is when the fun starts!

We attend the North American International Toy Fair in New York, Feb 2019.  It's our first time exhibiting and we are surprised to win an award that we didn't know existed or that we were even nominated for.  #blessed
